August 1-2. Jamestown Arts Center Culture Festival: Jamestown, North Dakota with John Doyle, Liz Carroll, Billy McComiskey and Niall O’Leary.

September 7. Creative Arts Alliance: Baltimore MD. Launch of Billy McComiskey’s new Compass Records CD with John Doyle, Liz Carroll, Billy McComiskey and Niall O’Leary.

October 3-5. Roger Williams University, Bristol, RI New Media and the Global Diaspora Symposium. Lecture, workshops and performance with Marilyn Mair, Robbie O’Connell and others.

October 12th. Symphony Space New York City. Benefit Concert: Irish Musicians for the Mercy Center with Green Fields of America, Cherish the Ladies, Tommy Sands, Peter Yarrow, Robbie O’Connell, Jimmy Crowley, The Washington Square Harp and Shamrock Orchestra. Up South, The Burns Sisters, John Murphy and Frank Crocker, Dana Lyn, Niall O’Leary and his school of Irish dance.

October 17-19. California Banjo Gathering. Doubletree Hotel, Sacramento with Melanie Noll, Mike Seeger, Clark Buehling, Buddy Wachter, Peggy Seeger.

October 23-25. O’Flaherty’s Irish Retreat, Richardson, TX.

November 2nd: St. Malachys Church, N 11th St., Philadelphia, PA: Annual benefit concert for St Malachy’s non denominational school.

December 4-6. Irish Arts Center. New York City with John Doyle, Athena Tergis and Niall O’Leary.

December 11-13. Irish Arts Center New York City with Athena Tergis, Niall O’Leary and special guests.

Feb 13-15, 2009. Irish Festival Savannah, GA with John Doyle, Athena Tergis and Sean Doyle.

March 4, 2009. Middlesex County Cultural and Heritage Society. New Brunswick NJ with John Doyle, Athena Tergis, Niall O’Leary and special guests.

March 5, 2009. Glucksman Ireland House, New York University Launch of percussive dance book, Close to the Floor, Macater Press, WI with Bill Whelan and others.

March 6, 2009. Warren Wilson College Asheville NC with John Doyle, Athena Tergis, Billy McComiskey and Niall O’Leary.

March 10th. Villanova University, PA. Illustrated lecture: “If It Wasn’t for the Irish and the Jews: Irish American Music in Vaudeville and early Tin Pan Alley.”
